I’m officially done with the question, “What’s wrong with your generation?” After years of being grilled by my elders, it turns out now the Canadian government is curious about the same thing. Why? Because there’s been a noticeable drop in the number of babies being born across the country.

Instead of launching a full investigation, maybe they should just ask the obvious. Life is expensive right now. Mental health? That’s in a weird spot for pretty much everyone, and did I mention that everything costs way too much?

Now, I feel like I’m doing my part—I did recently announce on the show that my wife and I are expecting a baby—but let’s be real, it wasn’t to help Canada’s declining birth rate. It was more to get certain family members off my back!
