Would You Ever Clone Yourself?

While science hasn’t quite caught up to making clones just yet, let’s entertain the idea for a second: if you could have a clone of yourself, would you actually want one?

Seems like an easy yes, right? Well, according to a recent study, nearly 70% of people said they’d jump at the chance. But here’s the thing—a lot of folks are overlooking one pretty big flaw in this plan.

See, most people want a clone to do all the stuff they don’t want to do. But if my clone is me, then clone-me isn’t going to want to do those things either! We’re basically the same person with the same level of procrastination. I’d just end up in a standoff with myself over who’s taking out the trash.

The real solution? Forget cloning me, I need a Martha Stewart clone. That way I get freshly baked scones and perfectly folded fitted sheets. Now that is a life upgrade.
