Today was my first day back to work after being off since last Wednesday for a golf trip! 16 of us made a trip out west to the Kimberley/Cranbrook area and it was INCREDIBLE!! If you love golf and you’ve never been to the area, you should go. Not only were the golf courses beautiful (see photos below), but the cost to play them all was so reasonable.

We were there from August 7th- August 11th and we played 6 rounds of golf… some guys played 7! So ya, it was A LOT of golf!! The highlight of the trip was my buddy getting a hole-in-one… his first one ever. You don’t expect anyone to get a hole-in-one on one of these trips, so when it happened everyone was so pumped. He also won some money for dunking it! We all decided at the start of the trip that if anyone got a hole-in-one we would all pay the guy $100. So, not only did he get a once in a lifetime hole-in-one, but he also got to put $1,500 in his pocket! Not bad!!

The only unfortunate thing of the entire trip was 10 of the 16 golf bags didn’t make it home! We landed, and a bunch of us were waiting for our clubs, and they just didn’t show up! So now we wait. I actually hope they don’t make it home so WestJet has to buy me new clubs haha.

Actually, there’s one other unfortunate thing about the trip… I SUCKED! But, it’s hard to be made when you’re golfing at such nice courses!!
