Since the Olympics kicked off I’ve been thinking about this…

I think I could become a professional dart player!

I first had this thought leading up to my 30th birthday, which was 4 years ago now! I thought that if I dedicated time over the next 10 years of my life to darts I could become a pro by the time I turned 40! Fast forward 4 years, I haven’t done any kind of training to make this dream a reality! But, I still think if I gave myself 10 years at some point in my life you could see me on TV with the announcer screaming, “180!!” Now I hope dart players don’t take offence to this, but it’s not like hockey. Hockey is an extremely difficult sport, and sport where if you don’t start it when you’re young you won’t become a pro! You also have to be in great shape to become a professional hockey player. I’m pretty sure professional dart players smoke and drink when they play (again, I hope dart players don’t take offence to this).

I’m eventually going to buy myself a board and chase this dream!? Do you think it’s a dream I can achieve!?
