Current IT Outage Set To Be Biggest In History

Tech disruptions across the world have hit a ton of different businesses and airlines who are being forced to scramble and pivot how they operate.

Microsoft said it was investigating an issue that prevents users from accessing their apps and services. Industry experts said the disruption appears to stem from an issue with CrowdStrike, a cybersecurity firm that has Microsoft among its clients.

Major US carriers including Delta, United and American Airlines have had some of their flights grounded, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. Some International Airlines have been affected, as well.

Banks and telecoms companies in Australia and New Zealand have also been affected, while Israel’s hospitals and health services are facing a computer “malfunction,”.

Some emergency phone lines also seem to be down or cutting out, and lots of local businesses are having app problems.

Hopefully this gets resolved soon.
