Best/Worst Times to Reach for a Cup of Coffee

Brace yourselves because I’ve stumbled upon some intriguing advice from a sleep expert. Yes, you heard me right, someone who actually studies the art of slumber has cracked the code on the perfect timing for that glorious cup of joe!

According to our sleep guru, the optimal time to reach for that heavenly coffee is no earlier than 45 minutes after you escape your cozy bed. I know, I know, the temptation to mainline caffeine into our veins the second we open our eyes is strong, but apparently, there’s a method to this madness.

Picture this: you wake up, dazed and confused, stumbling towards the kitchen like a sleep-deprived zombie in dire need of resurrection. But instead of rushing for that coffee machine, you take a deep breath and give your body a chance to wake up naturally. You stretch, perhaps even meditate like a zen master, and then, and only then, allow yourself the pleasure of that first cup of liquid joy. Now, here’s the twist: the sleep expert advises us to bid adieu to coffee at least six hours before we embark on the journey to dreamland. How can we survive the evening without our trusty companion?
